1. Right of Withdrawal for EU Customers
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us by email at: info@basketballwitch.com.
You then have an additional 14 days to return the product after informing us of your withdrawal.
2. Right of Withdrawal vs Defective Products
The right of withdrawal applies when you return a product without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving it.
If the product is defective, damaged, incorrect, or not as described, separate legal rights apply under applicable consumer protection law. These rights may include the right to request a repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund, depending on the situation.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
Under Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal may not apply to certain categories of products and services.
Basketball Witch currently primarily sells standard physical products intended for active play. If personalized Shooting Spot Markers, custom engravings, limited custom editions, or digital content are offered in the future, additional withdrawal limitations may apply only where permitted by applicable law. Any such limitation will be clearly stated before purchase.
3. Return Conditions
You may inspect the product as you would in a physical store to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning.
If the product has been used beyond what is necessary to inspect its nature, characteristics, and functioning, we may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value caused by such handling.
To help us process your return, please return the product:
- with all parts originally delivered, where reasonably possible
- in its original packaging, where reasonably possible
- without damage caused by misuse, improper use, or unauthorized modification
Failure to return the original packaging does not automatically remove your right of withdrawal, but it may affect the assessment of the returned product if the product is damaged or incomplete.
4. Return Process

Please include your order number and, if applicable, the reason for the return. If the product is damaged, defective, incorrect, or not as described, please also include photos of the product and packaging where relevant.
After contacting us, you will receive instructions for returning the item.

5. Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs when exercising the right of withdrawal, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
If the product is defective, damaged, incorrect, or not as described, return shipping costs will not be charged to the customer where required by applicable consumer law.
We recommend using a tracked shipping service when returning products. When exercising the right of withdrawal, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the returned item is sent back safely.
6. Refunds
If you withdraw from the contract within the applicable withdrawal period, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery.
We are not required to reimburse additional delivery costs if you chose a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery option offered by us.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
No additional fee will be charged by us for issuing the refund.
Refunds will be processed within 14 days in accordance with applicable law.
7. Damaged, Defective, Incorrect, or Non-Conforming Products
If you receive a damaged, defective, incorrect, or non-conforming product, please contact us as soon as possible at info@basketballwitch.com.
Please include your order number and photos of the product and packaging where relevant.
Under applicable EU consumer law, you may be entitled to remedies for non-conforming goods for a period of 2 years from delivery.
Depending on the situation and applicable law, we may provide a repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund at no additional cost to you.
This section does not limit your statutory consumer rights.
8. Situations Where a Refund May Be Reduced
Refunds may be reduced where the product has lost value due to handling beyond what is necessary to inspect its nature, characteristics, and functioning.
This may include, for example:
- damage caused by misuse or improper use
- unauthorized modification or alteration after delivery
- returning the product incomplete without justification
- use beyond what is necessary to inspect the product
This does not affect your statutory rights for defective, damaged, incorrect, or non-conforming goods.
9. Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges.
If you wish to exchange an item, please return the original product in accordance with this policy and place a new order.
10. Product Use and Wear
The product is designed for active play by children aged 6+ under appropriate supervision.
Normal cosmetic wear, surface marks, or minor cosmetic changes resulting from ordinary use are not considered defects.
This does not affect your statutory rights if the product is defective, damaged, incorrect, or not as described.
